Dear donors of KDSF scholarship,
Thank you so much for kindly willing to donate to Missionary Kids studying in the US. I am one of them. My name is SooA Hong and I am a j unior majoring i n Accounting at Calvin University. I am an MK from Kyrgyzstan since 2004. I came to the US because I am very passionate about knowing more about the world and the society. One of my dream is to help those who are financially struggling because I have been in their shoes when I was l iving i n Kyrgyzstan and even today. My parents and I were searching and praying for scholarships and we were even more desperate because my younger brother became a college student this year too. My parents’ financial burdens doubled. I was knocking on every door and applied to all scholarship opportunities that I can, but the response back was rejection. Then I came across KDSF and I have decided to be as honest as possible and think that this scholarship as my l ast chance. I was so surprised when I saw that I was selected as one of the recipients of this scholarship. I was filled with j oy and thanked God. I do not know how to express my thanks well enough because it is very big and words are l imited. May God bless you and guide you as you continue
