But I thank God for your generous donation that has helped ease the financial burden of this year as I fund my studies. You have no idea how necessary it was for me to get this scholarship this year. I thank God every time I think about this. It is truly a blessing and I do not take it for granted. I was in such a state of desperation, worried about how to pay my necessities like rent, gas and tuition. I thank you for giving me breathing room as COVID-19 took away my job and the opportunity for me to get income. I am humbled by your kindness and I pray that God would continue to be glorified through your generous gifts. Thank you Sehee Park

At that moment, I didn’t overthink it – I just assumed that it was another notification from Instagram or Facebook. I walked to my desk to check my phone, and when I tapped on the screen, a notification that said “1 new email” popped up. Receiving an email didn’t come to me as a big surprise because I have been receiving so many promotions and spam emails.

Thank you so much for selecting me to be a recipient of the KDSF scholarship. I am genuinely so touched that KDSF has been supporting me each year during these past four years of college. I feel like it was just yesterday when I received my first scholarship at KDSF as a freshman and now I am already a senior graduating this upcoming year. These past four years have been such a difficult journey emotionally and financially, yet I am so thankful for your continuous support and your prayers.
To all the donors, sponsors, and leaders of KDSF:
First and foremost, I want to thank God for proving time and time again His faithfulness and commitment to me as His daughter. I also thank the Lord for you and the spiritual family that He has so graciously blessed me with; I truly believe that I’m undeserving of this depth of love and kindness that I receive every day, and yet God reminds me that He declares me worthy.

I am single, aged thirty years, currently in second semester of MDiv at Africa Reformation Theological Seminary. Your financial support and prayers will enable me to study and serve the Lord with all my heart, my soul, my strength and body. I am so delightful for your help because as I am a student, I am also to take care of my widowed elderly mother of 70 years old. The load was too much for me to handle. I will be so grateful to you and to God if you continue supporting me. Yours faithfully,Nshimiyimana Wellars.
